I need to install a safety grab bar in my mother’s shower stall. It is made of fiberglass (plastic). How do I attach it so it is sturdy. Do I have to find studs? If so, how do I do it without drilling a bunch of holes?

There are ways to do it, electronic stud finders. Look for power points and light switches on the same walls as the ones you want to drill, both inside the bathroom and in the rooms on the other side of the walls. Turn off the power, remove the cover and using stiff wire or tape, try to locate the stud.
