Ive just bought a four year old home, the previous owner installed a recirculator on the hot water heater. It functions via what seems to be muiltple timers, Im certain there is one timer thats between the heater and the electrical panel. When we adjusted the timers to suit our family requirements, we experienced a problem w/ the breaker at the electrical panel tripping. This has occurred on two occasions, that were aware of.I would like to find out more about this set-up and the reason for a home using a recirculator. Im considering adding another hot water heater and elminating this design.Any thoughts or comments, please.

The purpose is to give instant hot water at the faucets. It only needs one timer with multiple on/off cycles to run it when you would be using the hot water. If the circuit breaker is tripping, then the heater elements may be burned out.: Ive just bought a four year old home, the previous owner installed a recirculator on the hot water heater.: It functions via what seems to be muiltple timers, Im certain there is one timer thats between the heater and the electrical panel.
