I need a source for parts for a 35 yr old Case model 3000 wall mounted, wall discharge toilet. Is there a current manufacturer that makes a replacement wall mount, wall discharge toilet? Thanks. John.

The parts are available from a Briggs toilet retailer, or someone who sells Briggs parts. Teh 3000 had a wall bracket and two bolts at the bottom. No other toilet has ever used that configuration so a new wall mount needs a four bolt carrier. The one you have may be able to be modified if it was a conversion for the 3000. Otherwise you will have to install a new carrier. Eljer is the only one that I know of that makes a residential unit, but I have used commercial ones when necessary. : I need a source for parts for a 35 yr old Case model 3000 wall mounted, wall discharge toilet. Would a licensed plumber need to purchase from supplier and at what price? Is the problem that commercial units use more than 1.6 gal/flush so I am not permitted to use in a residential application.? My carrier can be modified to handle 4 bolts as I already replaced one of three Case 3000s in my home with a Kohler walford model K-3441, which is no longer made (it was 3.5 gal/flush), unless I could find one lying around in a warehouse somewhere. Thanks John.

The problem manufacturers seem to have with wall hung units is getting them to flush with 1.6 gallons of water. I have all wall-mounts in my house, and if it became a choice between no toilet and a commercial one, it would be no decision. The 3000 was always my favorite unit when it was available. You can have a retailer order a commercial unit as long as you don not tell him it is for a residence. People are bringing 3.5 gpf units back from Canada every day. The illegal ones are being brought back by plumbers for resale, but no one has the time to follow them to see if they are using them in their own homes or selling them for use elsewhere.: : The parts are available from a Briggs toilet retailer, or someone who sells Briggs parts.
