I have a case Toilet that needs a seat. It will not take a standard seat because the bolts dont go down through the top of the bowl piece, rather they go straight back into tank (above the water level).I have checked every hardware and supply store in my area and cant come up with a thing. I really dont want to replace the whole toilet because of a seat.Any suggestions?

Check with a Briggs toilet retailer. They used to have brackets that bolted to the tank and accepted a conventional seat.
