How do I get the ceramic tiles off my walls? What will I have to do to the walls after I get them off? Or can I just put something over them? What should I use to get them off? And is it very hard to work with the walls after I have gotten them off? Do I have to put something called wall board up? Is this very hard? The tiles are on all of my shower walls and on the other walls just half way up from the floor. Please tell me the easiest way to do this. Thank you very much for your help. Emma

Emmayour best bet would be to find a friend who has done something like this to look at these walls. it sounds like tile on a cement base, a sledge hammer maybe needed. you are looking at a hefty project. good luck

Now Im back to where I started, any tips on removing these tiles? I really dont want to cause any damage to the wall under them. All I want to do is to remove them and just paint the walls. Thank you again : Emmathese are probably glued to the plaster board, all I can say is pry them off slowly. maybe someone else has a better way.
