We have lived on our 1937 built house for 3 months. sometimes we smell a faint eggy smell and other times we are absolutely bowled over by the smell. The plumber said (and we saw it) that we have a seriously cracked stack (the four inch increaser) in our attic. He wants to cut in to the bathroom wall below it and replace it. The charge will be $550.00 which at this point will be worth it because we cant stand the smell, but we wanted to make sure that this is probabley the root of our problems. Do you think this will keep the smell out of the house? Many thanks. Nancy
