        I had a home inspection done and was told I needed to have a sediment trap on my water heater and furnace. Any advice on the best way to do this. Water heater is a Gas energy saver model from Bradford – White. The furnace is also a gas model .Any help would be greatly appreciated.

          He was probably referring to the gas lines, and was just looking for something to write up. Unless you have very dirty gas, sediment traps have not been installed for many years.: I had a home inspection done and was told I needed to have a sediment trap on my water heater and furnace.
