Were moving into a house in CT this weekend that has been vacant for a few months. Weve noticed over the past few months that the kitchen sink would pulse like there was air in the lines. The instant hot and dishwasher also in the kitchen work fine. Also, so do the other faucets/ toilets in the house. Know Ive noticed that the faucet has stopped running altogether and the water backs up and drips under the sink. I dont know squat about fixing these things. Im guessing some kind of washer dried up or something from non-use. Also, did I mention we are having a houseful to show off our new house for thanksgiving next week? Any body have any ideas? ThanksDoug

I assume you have a spray hose on the faucet. If so, then the diverter or hose is defective and causing the water to divert to the spray and then back to the spout. Remove or replace the diverter.: Were moving into a house in CT this weekend that has been vacant for a few months.
