The hot water is boiling hot and air is coming out of the faucets at the same time. The red reset button on the thermostat didnt kick out and neither did the breaker. I replaced both thermostats & same thing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks

I replaced both thermostats & same thing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks**cut off the breaker now** you have dangerous sitituation. the hi limit(red button)switch must also need replacement. Itsounds like one element is burnt out and shorted causing it to continue heating and bypassing thermo. check continuity of elements to find bad one. let me know how thing work out.
