I have a foul odor from my upstairs master bedroom toilet also, a very small leak of water around the base of the toilet. Everything we try doesnt get rid of the smell. It doesnt smell like the usual rotten egg smell from the water we occasionally get but more like something died. Help! Thanks in advance. Ken

KenKen, sounds like you lost your seal between the toilet flange and base,pull the toilet and replace the wax ring, that should do it. Good luck…..
