13 years ago I connected a copper pipe to a free standing tub faucet. It was not a clean connection, so i used some plumbers putty. 13 years later it is leaking. I tried plumbers epoxy and it does turn into steel when it dries. but there is still an open spot and the water is still leaking. I am afraid to put more epoxy on . i though may be if i use some kind of sealant first. any suggestion, beside get a plumber. I am moving and really do not want to put any more than I have to into this old house
