10 year old kohler watercloset with insufficient vortex to flush thoroughly…after it overfills (not overflows, thank goodness) the bowl empties completely, and the tank fills to the water line. i cant figure out why the bowl wont flush properly.

: 10 year old kohler watercloset with insufficient vortex to flush thoroughly…after it overfills (not overflows, thank goodness) the bowl empties completely, and the tank fills to the water line. i cant figure out why the bowl wont flush properly.1- Check refill tube from ballcock to overflow pipe 2- Check below tank flapper valve for obstuction. 3- With a stiff wire clean all rim ports and lower vortex ( a cloths hanger works great)
