How well will an acrylic tub hold up in our very high use tub/shower set-up? I wanted cast iron, but I also wanted something narrow and deep. Laurel Mtn. makes an acrylic that will fit better than the cast iron options. Should I stick with cast iron or is the acrylic an acceptable alternate?

        Thank you for your reply.

Having installed ONLY Cast Iron and Americast tubs and NEVER ever having a call back these are the only real options I feel you have for HIGH usage area’s.

Americast at one time had contractors hit the tub with a hammer to prove it is chip resistant.

They both cost about the same but the Americast is weighs less so should actually cost less to install
