I accidentally dropped a women’s deoderant into the toilet just as it was almost finished flushing. I understand that I’ll probably have to remove the toilet to get it out as I can’t feel it. If I have a friend remove the toilet, do I have to worry about putting a new water seal at the base? Any other problems that may occur? I’d appreciate any information someone may have. Yes, always install a new wax ring when you remove and replace a commode. Also replace the riser, the tank to bowl bolts & gasket, and the floor bolts at the same time.
Those should be your only problems if you don’t replace them.
