        For 15 years, we had no water pipe vibration. During the last week, each time we turn off the water, we get a lound humming noise. How do I stop the noise?

            Norton: Why are you turning the water off? To what? How long does it hum after the water is shut off
            briefly?..continuously?

              check the ball cock in the toilets
