I have a Sears/Kenmore Washer that is about 8 years old and performs great. Recently, however, the Cold water flow has slowed to almost 20% of what is used to be. The hot water fills normally. If I run the machine in and all cold cycle, it takes twice as long because the water fills so slowly. Could this be mechanical, or is it possible that something is partially clogging the hose?

You need to clean the screens! Shut the water off to the washer.Take the hoses off the back of the washer. the screens are inside the hose connection!!

The filters can also be between the hoses and the taps, but when you clean out the filters, run the tap for a few seconds to flush the lines
