Ive lived in this house for 2 years. The septic system is old. Its overflowed and backed up to the bathrooms three times now and each time the plumbing service has pumped it out and roto-rooted the pipes. This last time, they said the leach field was saturated and I probably needed to dig a new one. The other alternative is to connect to the city sewer (costly). This last time it overflowed into the bathrooms, the toilet valve got stuck and water was running in all day long and we had heavy rains last week for several days. Any comments? Thank you.
