Today, someone asked me why black iron pipe is recommended for use with natural gas, while galvanized pipe is not approved. Id be really interested in knowing the chemical/metallurgical reasons behind this! FYI, Im not a chemist or a materials engineer, but I do have an understanding of basic chemistry and metallurgy. Thanks for any and all info!Larry O.
