Our septic tank is beginning to fail. Our options for a new drain field is eliminated due to changes in the DNR standards. If the astronauts can stay in space for years, there must be some new improvements in the waste water business. Where could I find any research and standards for septic tank options ? Cost is certainly a factor, but since my options are limited, it is not the greatest factor.
