It is always best to connect the lines together to maintain proper flow. But if the radiator has a shut-off valve on it, then you can cap the lines. If it does not, then you have to check the piping to see if it is a continuous loop or a main loop with the radiators tapped off the main piping.: Can you cap the in and out pipes to rad separately or : do you need to conect the 2 after rad removal.
