cast iron tubs

I have an American Standard Cast iron tub that is approximately 30 years old (or at least the newspapers wrapped around the pipes-Jan/1965-are that old!)and I am wondering about its worth. It is in good/fair condition with no fixtures. Dimensions are 16H x 32D x 60L with only the front finished, Any help?

David – From time to time I throw out things that people tell me are worth something to somebody. I tell them to please introduce me to somebody . Ive yet to meet that person…. Ive seen old cast iron tubs for sale at junk or antique dealers. You could try them. However Ive never installed one that has been purchased in that mode, and Ive installed a thousand bathtubs. Maybe find somebody that wants a fountain or fishpond. We remove them with a 20 lb. mall.

: I have an American Standard Cast iron tub with claw feet that is approximately 59 (1941) years old and I am wondering about its worth. It is in good/fair condition with no fixtures. It has been painted pink and is needs to be sanded to take some rust off. Dimensions are 16H x 32D x 60L Any help?
