Volume = D2 x .7854 x H x 1000 D2 is diameter squared. If you use metric measurements the answer comes out in litres. I hav not used feet and inches for years so I dont know if it works with fts good luck: 3.14 times radius squared times height.: : What is the equation for finding volume of a cylinder?

Volume = D2 x .7854 x HD2 is diameter squared. If you use metric measurements (metres)the answer comes out in cubic metres. To convert to litres multiply the formula by 1000 eg D2 x .7854 x h x 1000 = litres good luck.: 3.14 times radius squared times height.: : What is the equation for finding volume of a cylinder?
