How do you know if a septic line is broken? What is the average cost for a new line?

They dont usually break, and even if they did, it would not be too detrimental, beause they are not sealed anyway. They usually plug up with soap, grease, sludge, etc, that gets through the septic tank without being processed. When that happens, the most efficient remedy is usually a new disposal field or cesspool, depending on your area.: How do you know if a septic line is broken? What is the average cost for a new line?
