Can someone tell me if teflon tape or paste should be used when putting together threaded pvc fittings? I have worked with galvanized and black pipe but not pvc. Thanks. Darrell

If you use a paste be sure it is labled safe for PVC threads. Pastes with a linseed base will melt the threads over time.: Can someone tell me if teflon tape or paste should be used when putting together threaded pvc fittings?
