Why does a flapper fall down and close before its suppose to. Ive adjusted the chain and that doesnt seem to work. I have to hold the lever down to make it flush.

Something could have happened to the ball so it is losing its air bubble, You may have an adjustable flapper, or you may have a low flush flapper which is supposed to close early.: Why does a flapper fall down and close before its suppose to.
