I work for Logan city Water Department and we are installing a LOT of dual check setters in our city. As we do, I have a form made up to have the homeowner sign that they are aware of the probalem of thermal expansion and a closed system. What do I leagall have to do to inform citizens of this. Recently an entire block was done by a contractor under our hire that I HAD NOT sent out information to the homeowners. (poor communication) Anyhow a lady has damages. How much public knowledege needs to go out to citizens. What do other cities do in this situation?
