Will replacing all the O rings on a Moen fauset cartridg work as well as well as replacing the entire cartridg? All of my Moen faucets are tight and hard to open and close. They do not leak.

Need a replacement for hot water side. handle fell off how do I order another one or the black o-ring cracked do I have to replace it and where do I go in syracuse New York to find one. Or do I need to contact the contractor who put it in.
