I have to compile a report which describes and identififes the following. Bernoulli equation, Chezy formula, D arcy equation, continuity equation, steady flow, uniform flow, discharge velocity, methods of pressure measurement.I would appreciate anyone help in this matter.I am in my last year of collage and I need this to pass the course. Thankyou any one who could help me. Nick 23/5/98

ParticipantNot to be sarcastic, but this should have been covered in the class to a greater degree than any e-mail could. And if not Encarta, or any engineering text should also cover them in great detail. Just to answer the Bernoulli question in the detail a senior college course should require, would be a sizable treatise, and the easiest way would be to cut and paste the description from a text,: I have to compile a report which describes and identififes the following. : Bernoulli equation, Chezy formula, D arcy equation, continuity equation, steady flow, uniform flow, discharge velocity, methods of pressure measurement.I would appreciate anyone help in this matter.I am in my last year of collage and I need this to pass the course. ParticipantNicky:…The previous post by hj is true in most respects, a careful study on this subject has disclosed the following….Senor Bernoulli; when asked to explain his advanced concepts on fluidic behavior, made a presentation to his Peers that contained flawed mathmatical equations. This revelation caused Mr. B to fall from grace, and was summarily defrocked of cap and gown. At last writing on the subject Senor Bernoulli had become a multi millionaire by exporting cheap red table wine to the USA. Chezy, and Darcy were contemporaries of the now humbler but wealhy wine merchant, who was now known to most as Berny. When word spread of the association between these three learned gents, they too were expelled from acadamia for collusion and conspirecy. Chezy and Darcy have formed a Fortune Five Hundred company that is now the worlds largest producer of frozen pizza pies.Sorry I cant help you with the nuts and bolts of your queery, but as you can see, Its an ill wind that blows no good. Lots of luck….Bud.

Prof.Box was responsible for Boxs formula G2 x L = 3d5 x H. This was drummed into me as a student. It can solve many hydraulic problems. Good luck
