: When anyone is taking a shower and there is another tap turned on anywhere in the house, hot or cold, the water coming out of the showerhead gets cold and my wife fusses at me…any suggestions…Jerry, you have an old problem that alot of people have lived with for a very long time. the cheapest route is to live with it and tell everyone to not run water while someone is showering. Your other alterntive is to install a pressure ballanceing valve in-place of the shower valve you have now. If your not very good at plumbing I would contact a plumber to do it. It somtimes can get a bit involved even for a pro. Good luck plumberjoe
