I read Daves post (of NY)with great interest. Our property slopes so that the soil close to the north facing walls remain wet for a few days after a rain storm. We are trying to sell this property. The prospective buyers would like to have us install drains, but I have no idea whether this is indeed necessary. What type of contractor could help? a plumber, landscape architect or civil engineer? Also, can anyone tell me (generally) what my alternatives could be and which might be the most cost efficient? Any help would be appreciated.
