I recently confirmed that I have a leaking water line (3/4″ copper), somewhere along the 85′ from the meter to the house. (Code in this area requires 36″ from top of pipe to grass roots.) Leak is 24K/gal per month! How can I find the leak without digging a replica of the Suez Canal in my yard?

Shalom, Contact MicroEngineering in California and ask to speak to John Buck ( GREAT engineer) about his leak detecting equipment.

You could also try your local water department as they already may have the leak locators.
