I have a gerber gravity operated water efficient toilet. It does a good job on a single flush most all the time but occasinally a second flush is required. Problem is that it seems to take forever to refill the tank. After the initial rapid inflow of water, which partly fills the tank, it slows down to that which is delivered by the small tube-pipe at the top and takes a long time to fill the tank for another flush. Is this normal?

Max…Check the valve beneath the left rear side of the toilet, and be sure that it is all the way open. If it is open all the way, check to see if there is any debris in the line or fittings that is causing the problem. If that doesnt help, shut the water off to the tank, and disassemble the diaphragm valve in the ball cock to determine if there is a debris in it that can be causing the problem..Bud……..Merry Christmas… Suncoast Plumbing… Sunny Florida…

Bud, Thank you so very much. You were exactly right on the solution. Valve to inlet was not open completely. You have a very Merry Christmas, also. Max
