        can i use a 3 inch pipe for drainage in a house

          Gerry…Im not familiar with plumbing codes in the great frozen north country. However in my neck of the woods 3 pipe is fine, you cannot hook up more than two water closets to it though. Merry Christmas Bud Suncoast Plumbing Sunny Florida

            We have constructed a pre-fabricated unit containing 3 restrooms for a retail store. All 3 restrooms have floor drains that need to be supplied with occasional water to prevent gas backflow. We have installed a single J.R. Smith #2699 trap primer to be tapped to each individual drain. The trap primer specs indicate that the valve allows 2 1/2 G.P.M. and is installed off of the 1/2 cold water line. Will this supply an adequate amount of water to the drains.
