can i use a 3 inch pipe for drainage in a house

We have constructed a pre-fabricated unit containing 3 restrooms for a retail store. All 3 restrooms have floor drains that need to be supplied with occasional water to prevent gas backflow. We have installed a single J.R. Smith #2699 trap primer to be tapped to each individual drain. The trap primer specs indicate that the valve allows 2 1/2 G.P.M. and is installed off of the 1/2 cold water line. Will this supply an adequate amount of water to the drains.

Gerry…Im not familiar with plumbing codes in the great frozen north country. However in my neck of the woods 3 pipe is fine, you cannot hook up more than two water closets to it though. Merry Christmas Bud Suncoast Plumbing Sunny Florida
