I have a early 1970 Kohler Toilet, which has a rubber looking cylindar in the water storage tank. The water is cycling every 30-45 seconds and I am told this needs to be replaced- but I am at lost where to find a part for this older model toilet- help anyone?

Mark, I would suggest a plumbing shop that employs a full time parts expert in your area (San Diego). You will not find better service on parts. In the Seattle area, there are three or four that I use. The little extra I pay has been well worth it.Regards, Terry Love
