help! i am a mom of a college student trying to figure out how to cut 3 pvc pipe at 18 for my daughter to use under her shelves/bed at school. The pipe cutter tool i borrowed is not big enough for the 3 pipe. Can i cut this pipe on say a radial arm saw? Is there a specific type of blade to use? Thanks in advance.

ParticipantYes – a fine toothed blade like for plywood will work. Usually, a hacksaw or a special pipe saw – not very expensive – is used. Will this be steady enough? Do you know lots of people are killed and injured by falling file cabinets abd shelving each year and OSHA has regs for this in the wrokplace? Maybe Im missing how this all stacks up.Good luck.
