interior “French Drains” ??? Leaky basement…

Has anyone heard of using an interior version of Fench drains? That is, building a small canal or dike around the inside perimeter wall of your basement to collect and divert water into a floor drain. Not the best solution perhaps but much better that having water all over the floor. I should mention that I have already spend many hours digging drain tile all around the house. I dont want to dig any more! Most of the problem was solved but I still get leakage after sustained rain at the point where the knee wall meets the floor.Im looking for construction tips and methods…Thanks
