we have a kenmore 90 serie washing machine that will not spin. Please tell me where to start to look for the solution. I prelease most of the back and saw nothing that would indicate a belt.

If the motor is running when timer goes to spin. Check the lid switch. If the lid is open or the switch does not make contact,the drum will not spin.(safty)
