How do you get the bathtub faucets out to replace the entire unit? There are no access panels. The bedroom wall is directly behind the bathtub. Help!

I am not an expert but do fix my own things at home. You may be lucky! If you have sheet rock (wallboard) on the bedroom wall, just cut into wall and make your own access. After installation of faucet fixtures you may replace the sheetrock or put a piece of nice plywood on with screws: just cut sheetrock on studs.: How do you get the bathtub faucets out to replace the entire unit? : There are no access panels. : When we lift the handle to turn the shower on, it doesnt. We cant figure out how to get the fixture off, I assume a seal is broken, because it fell out. When you turn the water on you can fill the tub, but you cant take a shower.
