        Help! I’ve moved into a rented flat
        which has an electric water heater.
        The hot water runs out in 3 minutes
        when showering despite being heated
        all night. The tank capacity is 70
        gallons. Please tell me there is
        something wrong and it can be fixed!

          If you are renting, my advice is contact the landlord or his agent and let them take care of it.

            Have the owner Check the dip tube AND the upper and lower elements.
