I’ve cleaned the tank many times but it and the stink returns. How can I get rid of the mildew and ghastly smell? What would cause it to keep occuring when the toilet bowl is completely clean? 15 Jun 2000 at 11:27 pm #286860 SylvanLMPParticipant chlorine will kill most molds NOW for the big question are you on well water and if so You had better check the water quality 22 Jun 2000 at 12:28 pm #286861 GuestParticipant You might have yourself or others who use the toilet checked for diabetes. Mildew is often the result. 23 Jun 2000 at 1:59 am #286862 daveroconnParticipant Sounds like iron bacteria please see this web site it should help you figure out what it is. http://www.ianr.unl.edu/PUBS/water/g1280.htm Hope this helps Author Posts Viewing 3 reply threads You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
