: How do I remove a toilet flange from 4 cast iron pipe?Hi, To answer I need to know a little more. 1) are you removing the entire toilet flange? perhaps removing the toilet from that location., pipe can be cut with a snap cutter, then capped with a blind plug attached with a nohub clamp. Size can be a problem, older pipe is smaller than the new nohub cast iron pipe. 2) Is the flange put on with lead and oakum? if so, you can pry out the lead with a strong screwdriver, remove the oakum, and pull off the flange. 3) Some flanges are put on with compression rings made of rubber and bolted up. If so loosen bolts and remove.Terry
