Can you solve what no one else has been able to?Ever since we moved into our house last spring, we have been hearing a loud crashing noise coming from the upstairs bathroom (its a two story). It seems to occur about 2 hours after we wash clothes or run the dishwasher, but has occurred at other times, as well.We also have the problem of running water being stopped for a few seconds.Ive talked to several plumbers and even had the local city inspectors come to my house. The suggestions Ive had so far are:1. A leaky toilet (water leaking from the tank into the bowl) 2. Pipes expanding and compressing due to heating/cooling 3. Bad mixer valve in the shower.I checked out the leaky toilet, and that doesnt seem to be the problem.Any of these sound reasonable?
