I have a Craftmaster GV-403-TM gas hot water tank. I have a sulfer smell. I clorinate my well and the
smell goes away for a couple of months and then it comes back. I have been told to remove the anode rod but the
only opening on top of my tank are the hot and cold outlets. Is there any permitent solution to this problem or
am I destined to clorinate my well every three months.

Yuor problem isn’t your anode it is your water. you have hydrogen sulfid gas which is common in drilled wells. call a water treatment company and have them test your water. if you have a plumber that you use and trust give him a call he may be able to refer you to someone.
