my shower is leaking at the bottom spout.so with my limited knowledge in plumbing i felt that i could repair it. anyway i turned off the water & removed the handle. Then i removed the back plate & exposed the pipes. I then removed a retaining clip & tryed to pull the guts out. The problem is that they dont appear to want to come out. then after thinking about it for a few minutes i determened that it probably unscrewed. My question is . If it does unscrew is there a specail tool needed to do so ? And does it unscrew counter clockwise or clockwise ? What can i expect when i get in side? Are there any specail tools or other items ill need ? Thanks Gary
