We have a broken toilet tank lid and it seems impossible to find a replacement. The name on the toilet is Briggs and it was manufactured in 1987, but I can’t seem to find such a company or even that such a product exists, exept that it is sitting in my bathroom. Help! Would it actually be better to replace the whole toilet just because the tank lid is broken? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

One way to contact Briggs is to go to http://www.repwars.com/briggs.html and get the address and phone number. They can then tell you the name of a local distributor who can order it.
