I have a double bowl kitchen sink with a slow drain, but only with both the bowl full and the water running. The sink readily accepts full flow of faucet or up to four inches of water with no problem, but with both the basin and the faucet the water floats between both bowls. The line is not clogged and the vent/drain (dedicated 1-1/2 inch) is located approximately 2 feet horizontally from the trap. Could the problem be a vapor lock(maybe not enough vent air)? Could an automatic trap be a solution to the problem?

If this is the case, try installing a continuous waste without this baffle.
