: Several of my radiators and steam heating pipes bang everytime the heat comes up. How can I stop it. My radiators are in the walls and my furnace is a new slantfinn. Thank you for any help.Okay..here is MY dilemma. Whenever my radiator kicks on, it does so quite loudly. i just bought my house, and the previous owner said that it needs to be oiled occasionally.
