Assuming that they are one pipe steam radiators,the only way to control them is to use adjustable air vents and use a higher setting for rooms distant from the boiler or that heat slowly, and a lower setting for those close to the boiler or which heat quickly. You will have to keep adjusting them until you reach a point where all the rooms heat in about the same time. Do not shut down the radiator control valves since that can trap condensate and cause banging. : We recently moved into an older home with Steam Radiators. How do you control the heat most efficiently?
