I have a product called Clearodor that is manufactured here in australia that has been designed for urine smell ellimination. It is non-polluting, non chemically based and removes odour within minutes. 100 tablets cost $A42.00. Hundreds of Schools,Hotels,Motels,Caravan Parks and Industry are using these products continually. This is not a masking treatment, but one that removes the Uric acid build up that causes the smell.Place one tablet (crushed with your shoe around the base of the toilet bowl where it meets the flooring and one tablet in each drain hole of sinks, hand basins and shower and bath drain holes as these all lead to the sewerage systems and can have odour emmanating bacteria in these pipes. Clearodor will elliminate the odour from these areas.: : We have a 2-story house with three toilets, two : : upstairs and one downstairs. Around three days : : ago, the downstairs toilet abruptly started : : to smell very badly, emitting a : : strong urine-like smell.: : The bathroom was completely cleaned. No change. : : I gave the toilet a chemical treatment with : : a product called Draino. No change. I took off : : the toilet, replaced its wax seal. No change. : : Oddly, it is not a fecal smell. It really smells : : of urine, like a public mens urinal that : : hasnt been cleaned for a day or so. Yuck.: : We have no pets so it is not a cat spraying : : or something like that.: : Any suggestions as what this might be would : : be greatly appreciated.: : Stefan Gower: If hour toilet sits on a floor with a particleboard underlay, it can smell like this if it is wet.
