: OK, I goofed: tightened the nuts a bit too much, and now : I have a couple of hairline cracks originating from the : bolt holes in my toilet tank. Do I have to buy a new : tank? (can you generally get a tank without the rest of : the toilet??). Or is it worth trying some kind of sealant : to repair the cracks? Chris, Its time to buy a new tank for your toilet. We have all done it at some time, given the bolts one tweak too much. Dont feel bad. ( well, too bad ) Regards, Terry Love
